This is a beginner class designed to introduce you to the art of needle felting. We will use special felting needles and various techniques to embellish a festive wool felt mat that will be the perfect landingpad for your favorite little treasures. This mat will be the perfect place to rest a tiny dessert pedestal, a candle, your keys or some special jewelry.  This techinique can also be used to repair and embellish wool sweaters!
 
Participants will have a choice of the two designs pictured. Or come up with your own design!!
Mats are approximately 9"
