KIDS Machine Sewing- Backpack

Ages: Kids 8+
Skill Level: Basic machine-sewing experience needed (EX. Our beginner machine sewing class)

This is a second level sewing class in which we will sew a simple drawstring backpack from cotton fabric.  This project is simple and rewarding and provides more practice with sewing on the machines.  Kids will learn to create french seams and properly use an iron and cutting tools as well as sewing a channel and threading a drawstring during class.
