These colorwork fingerless mitts were completely inspired by this beautiful yarn  dyed by Nina of Brujeria Lana. The warm, golden rainbow of the Candy Rain colorway reminds me of candy covered gingerbread houses and faded polaroids.  I designed the colorwork motifs with that feeling in mind. These mitts are a fun and quick knit with an eye catching design. 
 
Suggested Yarn:  Fingering weight yarn in two contrasting colors. Choose a solid main 
                                    color and a variegated contrasted color. 
 
          Contrast Color (CC): Brujeria Lana-Magician’s Feet,  Candy Rain colorway
                     (fingering weight 80% Wool, 20% Angora 219yd/50g)
          Main Color (MC): Knit Picks Stroll Bare colorway
                    (fingering weight 75% Superwash Merino Wool, 25% Nylon 231yd/50g)
 
Yardage Needed:   CC= approx. 70yd / 64m (15gm)
                                      MC= approx. 150yd / 137m (33gm)
 
Gauge and Needles: 14st = 2” in stockinette  
      US 2 /2.75mm double pointed needles or circular needles for  magic loop or whatever size needed                                       to achieve gauge.
      US 1 / 2.25mm for ribbing.
