Knitting Camp (AM)
August 8-12, 2022
Mornings 9:00am - 12:00pm
Ages: 7 and up
(Space is limited to 8 campers)
If you have been wanting to learn to knit the Summer is the perfect time to start! During this week we will master the basics of knitting including casting on, knit and purl stitches, and binding off! We will practice all of these skills over and over so the campers will feel confident to start projects and continue to build their skills at home. Just think...by next Winter you will be an experienced knitter making cozy gifts for your family and friends because you challenged yourself and learned to knit in the Summer!
Please PRINT and COMPLETE this Emergency Contact Form and bring it along to the first day of camp.
Allergy Warning- Handework House is also home to two loveable long-haired cats named Simon and Farrah.
Handwork House Summer Camps offer a unique experience for children to learn useful skills they can build on for the rest of their lives. We keep our camp sizes small which allows for more in-depth learning. Our workshop is located in Lancaster's Chestnut Hill neighborhood in a charming, colorful and cozy space that offers endless opportunities for creativity.
About the staff: Sarah Ulrich brings 20 years of fiber art experience and a passion for education and conservation to each lesson. A teen camp assistant will also be available to assist during larger camp sessions.
