Weaving is an ancient art form that has been practiced by cultures all around the world. In this camp, we explore natural materials and traditional forms of weaving from various cultures. From dyeing our own yarns with the plants of our Fiber and Dye Garden to building our own looms we will completely immerse ourselves in this relaxing and colorful creative outlet for an entire week.

Please PRINT and COMPLETE this Emergency Contact Form and bring it along to the first day of camp.

Allergy Warning: Handwork House is also home to two loveable long-haired cats named Simon and Farrah.

Handwork House Summer Camps offer a unique experience for children to learn useful skills they can build on for the rest of their lives. We keep our camp sizes small which allows for more in-depth learning. Our workshop is located in Lancaster's Chestnut Hill neighborhood in a charming, colorful and cozy space that offers endless opportunities for creativity.

About the staff: Sarah Ulrich brings 20 years of fiber art experience and a passion for education and conservation to each lesson. A teen camp assistant will also be available to assist during larger camp sessions.
