Summer is fast approaching and that means... the kids are out of school. Don't panic! Handwork House, Lancaster's Fiber Art Workshop, has plenty of Artsy Camps for Crafty Kids! As we approach our one year anniversary here at 343 W. Lemon St in Lancaster City, we are excited to announce our newly expanded Summer Camp Program! What is Handwork? It's exactly what it sounds like... hands working, making something new, something beautiful, something that will reflect the creativity and dedication of the maker. Here at Handwork House we believe that
Handwork House Is offering loads of creative opportunities for beginners and more experienced campers. Each week offers a morning (9am-12pm) or afternoon (1pm-4pm) camp option. If you are looking for a full day camp, go ahead and sign up for both the AM and PM camps for that week and pack a lunch to eat here at Handwork House!
All camps are taught by our Lead Teacher Sarah Ulrich with help from one of our amazing Student Art Assistants. These intensive art and craft camps are packed with invaluable skills that kids and teens will be able to build on throughout their lives. Sewing, knitting, crochet, paper & book making, puppetry, baking, fashion design and so much more is taught with a focus on natural materials and sustainability. We keep our camp sizes small (6-10 people) to make sure each camper has the time, space and materials to get making! This also means that our camps are beginning to fill up so SIGN UP TODAY TO RESERVE A SPOT!
